A mentoring or sparring partnership can be rewarding for you, personally and/or professionally. It’s an opportunity to develop communication skills, expand your viewpoints, and consider new ways of approaching situations. What makes good mentorship? A good mentor focuses on his mentee and his needs and wishes. Helps with contacts, knowledge and experience. He sometimes withdraws himself and reflects the situation of the mentee in detail. He encourages positively and encourages courage. He questions critically, but leaves the mentee the chance to find the solution himself. A good mentor lets his mentee make his own experiences.
